Dr Hevrin often assists patients with dentures, which are removable replacements for missing teeth. Recently, we have seen an increase in nonremovable dentures, which is are basically dentures that are held in place to implant posts. Often, about 4 total implant posts will attach to the dentures for a full set of denture teeth.

Implants and crowns can last a long time. Detures often need to be replaced every 5 to 8 yeas due to wear and changes in the gums.

4. Bone Loss:

   Dentures can contribute to bone loss in the jaw as they don't stimulate the bone like your natural teeth do.
